"Rotationsgriff" is missing

Hi, I am new here, and I am using the German version of Affinity Photo 2. Therefore, I use some German terms in my text.

In order to rotate an image, I use "Verschieben", then, I find, on top of an image, the "Rotationsgriff".

However, since a couple of days, the "Rotationsgriff" does not appear anymore. I see some "x" on the border of the image, but I can nothing do with them.

What can I do to have the "Rotationsgriff" visible again? Thanks.

That is not a bug.

The layer you have selected is locked (hence the crosses at the layer control handle points, and note the lock icon at the right of the layer in the Layers Panel) and, in this locked state, it cannot be rotated.

To rotate the layer, unlock it first.
