I noticed awhile back ago that the colors on the canvas work space in affinity photo (Not V2) are not the true colors once exporting the image.

I am not sure why but blacks have a touch of red in it. And even when i export the item it turns out to be completely different shades.

The strange thing is its only on the canvas work space. The color swatches as well as preview on the bottom right show the true color of everything.

Can someone let me know what i did?

Hello!,

Might be the color settings. Enter in edit > settings > Color  . Then make sure you have this settings:

Olso make sure that in the document settings you have set the document to RGB/8 and color profile is SRGB IEC61966... .

If you have that like it it should work fine.

Affinity uses the ICC profile for monitor (defined in OS) for rendering on the canvas. If the colors do not match, just set/correct this profile.
