Letter vs number size difference

When I type a number the size is much smaller than the letter i.e.  "chicks are 2 and 3 days old"

Some fonts have different sizes for numbers, some fonts have extended sets of numbers. Sometimes you can have a preference set in the Paragraph Style to use these different sizes.

Then there is the Typography window with even more Font specific attributes.
