Hello, New to Affinity,

I want, on occasion to use LUTS. I know how to bring in an individual LUT, but what I can't seem to be able to do is bulk import them? I also use Luminar Neo and that lets me select a folder on my PC and choose a LUT (when I click or hover over the LUT I can see what effect it brings.

Is the above possible?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums @tomg35

If you are using Affinity Photo, then you can batch-add LUTS if you:

  • open the Adjustment Panel;
  • go to the LUT section;
  • press the ‘cog icon’;
  • choose “Create New Category” from the menu and enter a name;
  • press the ‘cog icon’ again;
  • choose “Import” from the menu and select the LUTS to import.

See attached image.

You can then apply a LUT by going to the same panel and choosing a LUT to apply.

You can also load and apply a LUT manually via the Adjustments menu in the Layers Panel.

Humm, if I go Layer > New Adjustment layer > LUT I get a pop out window with load LUT and infer LUT. There is a cog but if I click on it, it brings up a new window relating to blend options.

On the LUT layer itself are just two options, history and hide layer. My screen differs to yours. I tried uploading a screen grab but it keeps saying upload failed

tomg35, you are not doing what GarryP suggested. In the Adjustment Panel, the LUT menu options are different from the menue options in the Layer Panel you are using.

In the below video, 9.32 min in, you will find a description of how to batch import LUTs. Version 2 of Affinity Photo works the same.
