All Affinity Apps crashing on iPad Pro

Recommended Posts

I have an iPad Pro 12.9, 6th generation. All the apps are closing on me and absolutely unusable. On Designer 2, as soon as I use the Pixel persona and try to erase, it crashes. On Photo 2 it happens as soon as I pick a brush. Publisher 2 does the same thing. I have installed and reinstalled the apps to no success. The redownloaded apps are now 2.2. I installed ios 17 last night and again uninstalled and reinstalled everything, same problem. I have unloaded the apps, completely deleted them, turned the iPad off and on, forced restarted the iPad. Nothing has changed. I’m attaching screen recordings. Please advise.

Ok, It seems to be solved. I reset assets and brushes on all three apps, restarted iPad, problem continued.  I lowered undo to 30, auto save to 100. I turned the iPad off and restarted. Problem continued. Uninstalled all apps and restarted again, reinstalled. It seems to work now. So the solution seems to be: delete stuff, lower stuff, then unisntall, shut down, turn un, reinstall.  Uff!  Now the problem is my Apple Pencil keeps disconnecting and I need to attach it to the iPad for a second to get it working again.
