  1. Ok, It seems to be solved. I reset assets and brushes on all three apps, restarted iPad, problem continued. I lowered undo to 30, auto save to 100. I turned the iPad off and restarted. Problem continued. Uninstalled all apps and restarted again, reinstalled. It seems to work now. So the solution seems to be: delete stuff, lower stuff, then unisntall, shut down, turn un, reinstall. Uff! Now the problem is my Apple Pencil keeps disconnecting and I need to attach it to the iPad for a second to get it working again.
  2. I have an iPad Pro 12.9, 6th generation. All the apps are closing on me and absolutely unusable. On Designer 2, as soon as I use the Pixel persona and try to erase, it crashes. On Photo 2 it happens as soon as I pick a brush. Publisher 2 does the same thing. I have installed and reinstalled the apps to no success. The redownloaded apps are now 2.2. I installed ios 17 last night and again uninstalled and reinstalled everything, same problem. I have unloaded the apps, completely deleted them, turned the iPad off and on, forced restarted the iPad. Nothing has changed. I’m attaching screen recordings. Please advise. RPReplay_Final1695336122.mp4 RPReplay_Final1695334720.mp4 RPReplay_Final1695334667.mp4
  3. I want to create a logo similar to the one I have attached below. I am having a hard time figuring out how to make the text at the bottom of the circle not be upside down. I don't want the circle to have text all around. I want the bottom portion to kind of "hang" from the path so it can all be read right side up. A Any tips or tutorials you could point me to?
  4. I am trying to use a PSD template. Affinity Designer and Affinity Photo both open the document. It is a template meant to show how my png files will look on tshirts and other items I sell on redbubble.com. The tutorial they have is on Photoshop. I cannot recreate what the video shows on either Affinity product. Help? The document has a layer that you are supposed to click on to open an embedded document which will be your png or jpeg design. They describe it as a smart layer. It says to replace what is in that layer with your design. Usually what is in the layer says "Your artwork here." I cannot figure out a way to do that. Here is the link to the documents and video tutorial. I hope someone can help me. Otherwise, does anyone know of a tutorial I could follow to do the same thing on either Affinity Product? Showing what a design would look like on a t-shirt or other item? http://blog.redbubble.com/2016/09/introducing-artist-promotional-templates/ http://blog.redbubble.com/2016/09/introducing-artist-promotional-templates/ RB_Unisex_Shirt_template.psd RB_Laptop_Template.psd
  5. I need the ability to draw across multiple artboards. Currently, even if I arrange artboards next to each other, when I draw a shape across two or more artboards I can only see the part of the shape that fits in the artboard the shape was started in. The same thing happens with text. In the picture I am including I drew a rectangle across two artboards but it only shows on one. I also wrote test across two artboards but it also shows on only one. I am also requesting a way to set up the spacing vertically and horizontally between two or more artboards. For example, set the artboards to be right next to each other at 0" or to be separated by a specific value such as .5" or 3pxls or anything like that.
  6. Thank you Affinity team for your two great apps (for now, can't wait for publisher)! I design sewing patterns and do some fashion flats illustration and would love to be able to complete my full workflow in Affinity Designer. To do so I need a line tool were I could import a specific measurement and have the line created to those specifications. It would also be great to be able to measure curves and the perimeter of shapes. Having units like mm, cm and inches would be awesome. There is a plugin for illustrator called Vector Scribe that a lot of sewing desgners use. If this feature becomes available I promise to spread the word amongst the fashion design community. I know a bunch of us can't wait to say goodbye to Adobe. I like what I see in Affinity. Can't wait for Artboards to become available.
