Jason Maranto Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 In Affinity Photo 2.2 the resize with Lanczos Non-Separable output is significantly less crisp than the previous version of the software. Quote
NotMyFault Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Can you please upload a test image as Photo V1 file, and screenshots or screen recordings of the exact settings used, and a full app window „after resize“ in both versions, zoomed at exactly 100%? There are many settings and activities potentially causing unwanted blurriness. If V2 Settings (Performance, view mode, view quality etc) or layer position/size/dpi differ, this can explain the issue. Jason Maranto Posted September 21, 2023 Author Posted September 21, 2023 I opened an old image from version 2.1.1 and made a new resized version at the exact same size. Nothing else was different. There were absolutely no other variables. There is something wrong with the Lanczos algorithm. Quote
NotMyFault Posted September 21, 2023 Posted September 21, 2023 Thanks for this update. Never the less, without a test document to reproduce the issue it will be impossible to work on the issue.
