Setting White Point and Black Point iPad

Recommended Posts

I am new to astrophotography and am trying to learn how to edit photos on an iPad. I found this YouTube video from 3 years ago that I am following along with. I am trying to set the white point and black point from around the 3:10 minute mark. In the iPad version of V2 I can’t seem to find a way to set the white and black points (no info on histogram), if someone knows how it would be a great help.

Welcome to the forums @learningAstro,

It appears that the video tutorial is using the 'Info' panel to sample the black/whitepoints which currently isn't available on the iPad version of Photo, so you may need to check this manually using the Colour panel and sampler set to 'RGB sliders'.

The 'Info' panel has been requested on iPad previously over on the feedback forum, but we don't have any news to share on it currently.
