ken2
Hi, Can anyone help me to alter the exposure in a part of an image while leaving the rest unaltered. I want to accentuate fluffy clouds on a blue sky without darkening the subject - hope this makes sense!
Staff MEB Posted March 23, 2016 Staff Share Posted March 23, 2016 Hi Ken2, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) You have to create a selection with the Brush Selection Tool (or by other means/tools) and with the selection active add an Exposure adjustment (menu Layer ▸ New Adjustment Layer ▸ Exposure Adjustment). Your selection will be added as a mask to the adjustment automatically (you can then deselect the selection pressing ⌘ (cmd) + D ) and it will only affect the selected area.
