Affinity apps not working on an external monitor

With both versions one and two, all Affinity apps simply do not work either mirroring or using stage manager to extend the screen to my Dell Ultra Sharp. When I do display falls apart, all tool bars, etc., quickly disappear. It happens both with ipadOS 16 and 17 beta (and with Affinity betas). I even tried it on two different iPad Pros, and neither made anything better. All is dandy fine on both my MacBook Pro (with the Dell) and my iMac. Worked fine with my old Windows machine too. I guess my question is are there a lot of you Affinity folks out there using an external monitor well? Certainly could be doin’ somethin’ stoopid. Thanks in advance. Any advice would certainly be appreciated.

Stage Manager is not supported by the Affinity applications, yet, which might be related to your problem.
