Affinity Suite not launching: .NET exception

Recommended Posts

I've got a PC running Affinity 2.16. Upon launching Affinity Suite (either running AffinitySuite.exe or AffinitySuiteNoahServer.exe), the program will fail to launch, immediately throwing a .NET error. Nothing shows on screen, but I can see the error in Event Viewer. It seems to be a .NET error, immediately followed by an application error informing that the .exe failed to launch.

I have tried re-installing Affinity Suite, and updating .NET from 4.8 to 4.8.1, but the issue still remains. Is there any advice on how to resolve this?

Hi @33666244and Welcome to the Forums,

You've got the wrong software company.  We make Affinity Designer, Photo and Publisher, more info here.  I've tried Googling for Affinity Suite Noah Server to find the right company you need to contact but I'm struggling to find a company contact page, so can't be of much help I'm afraid :(

Ah, I was tricked by a deceptively similar logo! No worries - I have managed to dig out a contact for them. Thanks for replying anyway. :)
