Mesh Clone in Liquify Persona

The Mesh Clone in the Liquify Persona in Affinity Photo V 2.1.1 for iPad does not work. If it's not a bug, can you tell me how to do it properly?

Option + click places a small cross that determines the location of the source. What does "Drag or hold to clone the mesh" mean? Do I have to hold my finger on the source, release Option and drag to the destination. Or release both Option and my finger and then hold it on the destination without dragging?

I have tried different combinations but none work.

One further note: in Live Docs it is not possible to create a duplicate, as in version 1.9, which I really miss. I hope that will be added in the future.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

For your Live Docs question: Swipe left on a document thumbnail, and you will get options for Duplicate, Save As, and Save.
