wendywoo Posted March 18, 2016 Posted March 18, 2016 Recently It was suggested that Affinity Photo would meet my needs I then selected the app, but found no offer of free trial, however decided to buy anyway. I have now found I have no idea how to get an image onto the desktop to start working on it. It is many years since i worked with a photo programme and my knowledge it limited (old pensioner) and would be very grateful if someone would be willing to guide me through the basics. Thank so much Quote
Staff MEB Posted March 18, 2016 Staff Posted March 18, 2016 Hi wendywoo, Welcome to Affinity Forums :) Open the application, go to menu File ▸ Open and select the image you want to work with. Alternatively you can simply drag an image from your desktop (Finder) to inside Affinity Photo to open it. Quote A Guide to Learning Affinity Software
