Customized groupings of colors being used in retouching?

Recommended Posts

I'm using Affinityphoto 2.2 beta to do color retouching of photographs in my artwork. Often I use some chosen color with various brushes, then switch layers and brushes and use other colors, but when I return to a previous color I have no easy way to return to that layer's color. Is there a panel or something analogous to a real world palette that would hold the colors I choose or used in previous layers?

Thank you for such a fine product!

Hi @DaveANYC2, welcome to the forum.

Sounds like you need the Swatches panel.

You'll find a bunch of videos on YouTube that will show you various ways of using swatches...
