sabletedd
Hi, Newb question here. I've created a transparent shape (no fill) with a border. When exported to SVG and opened in Cricut Design Space, the shape appears filled in (opaque). I've ensured that rasterize: nothing is selected when exported. Any tips of wisdom you can offer me? Thanks
Chul
Hi, Can you show a snip of what export settings you're using? Also is your document background set to transparent?
sabletedd
Chul, thanks for your response. Here is the screenshot of my export settings I've tried setting the background as transparent However, when I opened the file with Cricut it appears as opaque, whereas my image has a black border only. I've moved this rectangular layer to the bottom and set the opacity to 0% but still does not seem to work. Essentially, I need the rectangular border, but the inside transparent. Going only by those it looks like it should all be good; I tried the same steps and all myself and when I uploaded to Cricut Design it worked like it was supposed to. Is there any way you could upload your Affinity file so we can have a better idea of what's going on? Not sure what to tell you otherwise. Although I had some problem that Cricut Design was somehow messing up my svg files no matter how I exported so I switched to using a png file instead which worked great.
