Increase resolution of embedded image

Recommended Posts

Someone sent me a PDF of a business card and told me "i want to print a billboard from this".

Usually i open it in corel, increase everything 1000%, select the images at 30 dpi, click on "bicubic resize to 300 dpi"

But here on affinity I don't see such an option? If i choose the image, i see on top only "40 dpi" and "replace image (with a different one)"

I can't edit the image (and only that specific image) in affinity photo, do a bicubic resize at 300 dpi and save back?

edit: if someone asks "but why do bicubic increase, the image is already low res".

Print at 30 dpi:

Same but with bicubic interpolation at 300 dpi:

Hi Ducky3961,

It's not possible within Publisher directly (might be worth a post in the feedback section of the forum).

You can change the image to a linked document in the resource manager, rescale in Photo and update once back in Publisher.
