Kurt
Hi. I can't seem to find a way to make a named style for pen tool lines. Suppose want to make a quickly selectable "line style" that has some predefined attributes for use with the pen tool, such as 4pt, a particular pressure patern, color, etc. If this can be done in AD, please give me some hints as to how. Thanks.
GarryP
You can make a Style from the formatting of an existing layer and then apply that Style to whatever layer you want to apply the formatting to, but a Style always contains all of the Stroke/Fill/FX/etc. formatting so you cannot apply just the Stroke formatting that way. (If all of the layers you want to apply the Style to need the same formatting then this might not be a problem.) (It might be nice if there were some checkboxes in the Styles Panel where the user could select which formatting was applied when applying a style.) Alternatively, you could look at the Object Defaults options to see if they would be useful.
