GarryP
Welcome to the forums @Semi The problem you are having sounds a lot like this one: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/149323-metadata-could-not-be-embedded-error-when-attempting-to-export-photos-with-embed-metadata-enabled/ Unfortunately neither of the people posting a problem in that thread responded in the forums to the questions asked so we have no way of knowing what the outcome/solution was, if any. A similar problem was also reported here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/155725-affinity-photo-error-metadata-could-not-be-embedded/ ...but that seemed to resolve itself. Another similar problem was reported here: https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/143529-error-metadata-could-not-be-embedded/ ...but, again, there was no response from the OP after being asked for more details. If you can supply the image which you are having problems with then someone might be able to help further. The more we have to work with the better we can help you. In the meantime, make sure that your Windows Updates have all been successfully installed and are up-to-date and try exporting again. Note: The V1 applications may not get any updates in the future so this might not get fixed (unless you upgrade to V2).
