My brushes and styles are blank

First time poster, I did do a search but think i only see answers for V2. I am on the original still. Anyways, my brushes and styles are completely blank On AD and my brushes are also missing on AP. I think i noticed a few months ago them being gone. I dont know what could of happened to them. I included a screen shot if that helps in someway. I am running Windows 10 too.

Welcome to the forum.

In the Miscellaneous section of the Preferences in Affinity Designer and Photo please try the Reset Brushes and Styles option, if this does not restore the brushes and styles please start the programs while holding down the CTRL key and then from the Clear User Data screen select Reset Object Styles and Reset Brushes and click the Clear Button and this will recreate the default Brushes and Object Styles.

Hi, thanks for a quick response. So i did the 2 things you asked me to do and now they are completely blank. Before when i would click on the drag down i could at least see the names of the different brushes. Now theres nothing there or in the styles.

Now im having other problems. So after doing this, pressing the letter C button no longer centers whatever picture i have highlighted, It just changes the upper menu back and forth each time i do . Also, as im trying to use the dropper to make a box the same color as something else the program shuts down.
