I have placed a warp mesh onto an image of a book and inserted a picture into it. However, it does look rather hard around the edges. Is it possible to feather the edges of a warp mesh as can be done with other shapes?

Thank you

  1. Select the image layer
  2. Select the live Perspective tool and position the points to the book cover
  3. Select the image layer again and Cmd/Ctrl Click on the image layer
  4. Use Select > Outline... and keep the option to centred, move slider to create a selection border
  5. Now use a Live Gaussian blur to adjust the edge blue.
  6. On textured covers you can change the blend mode to Overlay or Soft Light so the image picks up some of the books texture.
