I’m finding that Affinity 2 , latest update is crashing when I export the file

this is happening with large files after I have done a focus merge of 15 or more files , go to export and Affinity 2 crashes

what I do is start new focus merge

load up tiffs

it runs ok and generates an untitled file, when I try to export it it crashes have to restart the program

it’s not happening with single images I open to work on

M1 MacBook Pro Canon R5 tiff files that have been converted from raw to tiff with DXO photolab

OS Ventura , haven’t changed any hardware settings

At the moment I’m having to use the original Affinity 1 to do focus stacking

I have managed to sort it out with the help of a couple of people on the Affinity Facebook group
I firstly re installed Affinity 2 to the latest version, it still did crash if I exported directly as a tiff after the focus merge was completed.
If I saved as an affinity document, opened that then exported as a tiff it works fine
Very pleased that I can now run focus stacks with affinity 2
Although it’s another step to save as an affinity document then open that it doesn’t take a moment and I’m happy that I can now use affinity 2 properly 😀
