Should I be using Designer or Photo for simple social posts?

I'm switching over from Adobe to Affinity and I need to know if I should be using Designer or Photo. 

I will be using it for simple social media posts. Take a photo with iPhone > Airdrop to Macbook > import to program > do some quick color correction and add text overlays. 

What program is best suited for this?

Yes but you could try out the programs first if you like to.
Go to the product pages of each program and scroll to the bottom to find them.
