Hello guys,

I'd like to ask whether there is any way to merge or divide the artboards in Designer.

To be more precise: let's say there is a document's cover in 2 parts: front cover and back (rear) cover as well. I'd like to have them seen as a whole in terms of design. Like both of them have the same picture/typo printed, but rear one contains the left side of composition, and front one - right side.

I struggled to just scale an object to make it continuously appear on both sides. In the past I used to crop the desired image or text in half (or other proportion) and place the "left cut" on the left artboard, and the right one - at the right one. Sometimes it is very time-consuming, when the more elements need to be cut and moved and/or when proportions differ from standard half to half ratio.

Is there any other way to do that faster and with more precision?

There are no automatic options for merging or dividing an artboard.

As for a better way, i can't think of a better workflow than you are already using, if followed everything correctly.  I'm sure if anyone reading this has any tips, they will reply :)
