Loss of Hintline

Hi Everyone,

I have lost the 'hintline' usually available bottom left of the UI when using any of the tools. I'm not aware of having changed any preferences or similar, and a look around the Tutorials and FAQs don't seem to provide me with a solution. 

I'd be grateful for any assistance in restoring them.

Hi @Morgan501 welcome to the forums,

It's possible that at some point you have toggled the User interface via the TAB key and then restored all the panels which were toggled one by one under the view menu, try pressing TAB/go to View > Toggle UI  and then see if the status bar re-appears at the bottom. 🙂

It's easy when you know how, isn't it!  Thank you so much, Nathan, for your advice and the very quick response.

FWIW, as a relative newbie to digital photography and the whole concept of processing, I've found Affinity 1 & 2 very intuitive and a joy to use. Thank you to the team.
