JHcrosstown
My work is trying to cut down on costs and it looks like we might be able to use affinity going forward, but we will need two plugins specifically to work: Topaz Photo AI Canon touchstone engine - this one is a legacy extension installer you can find on canon's graphiplaza website Im unable to get either to work so far, i can get the topaz plug in to show up, but it remains greyed out no matter what the color space is. The canon touchstone engine is some kind of installer that shows up I am using an apple silicon mac, if that effects anything. It would be amazing if we could get these two plug ins running because this program does everything else we need, and we just need that last little push to get going. Staff stokerg Posted May 10, 2023 Staff Share Posted May 10, 2023 Hi @JHcrosstown and Welcome to the Forums, 11 hours ago, JHcrosstown said: Topaz Photo AI This is working fine for me on my M1 MacBook. Make sure you have Pixel Layer selected and that the image is in RGB/8 or RGB/32 and the plugin should work. If it still doesn't, please post a screenshot of your Photoshop Plugin section of Settings for Affinity Photo and i'll be able to help further. 11 hours ago, JHcrosstown said: Canon touchstone engine - this one is a legacy extension installer you can find on canon's graphiplaza website If I'm on the correct download page, this is an extension and not a standard plugin. Affinity doesn't support Photoshop Extensions, so this won't work.
JHcrosstown
Hi, thank you for the helpful reply! Hmm, that canon extension is and always has been a nuisance, Ill talk to canon about that, cause maintaining an ancient adobe extension cant be sustainable. Im not sure if the a in rgba means anything here, but its still not working. yes i have tried removing the other addons, they also dont do anything either
