artwork changes color after stiching together and then rendering

I am new to Affinity and use it only for stitching together artwork that is larger than A4 which I have scanned in sections. The color scan looks great, but after stitching together

and then rendering in the app, the color changes. Also the stitching together has not worked, it randomly stitches pieces together any old how. What do I do?  Am complete beginner here and only use the app for said function.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity Forums, Susan.

I presume you’re trying to stitch in two dimensions at once. Try stitching a row or column at a time, and then use a second pass to stitch the resultant pieces together.

I’m afraid I don’t know why the colour changes after stitching.

Hi Alfred, I need to do the same as Susan and stitch together artwork that is bigger than A4 and scanned in sections. Which function do I use to stitch the parts together?

Which Affinity app(s) do you have? The stitching function is only available in the Panorama Persona of Affinity Photo.
