indave Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Ciao, might I suggest inserting rows in a table when you press the 'TAB' key from the last cell in the last row present? In addition, the formatting of the added cells should maintain the same as that provided in the existing rows. In the attached photo you can see how the text in the second-to-last cell does not take the formatting of the cell just above it. And if I may suggest improving the handling of the tables within the text box--occasionally they move outside or do not respect their order among the text present. PaoloT 1 Quote
indave Posted May 6, 2023 Author Posted May 6, 2023 Here is to see how the table is positioned when inserting other content into the text box or making other changes? Quote
indave Posted May 6, 2023 Author Posted May 6, 2023 Layout completely crazy--this needs to be fixed quickly.... Indesign handles this fantastically and it couldn't be any other way, it's the primary purpose of a page layouter like Publisher Registrazione schermo 2023-05-06 alle 19.45.45.mov Quote
indave Posted May 6, 2023 Author Posted May 6, 2023 I don't copy tables from any program outside Publisher. All tables are created in Publisher, formatted stylistically and then populated with handwritten content or in some cases copy and paste text from cell (Excel or Word) to cell (Publisher). Quote
