Dinagirl Posted May 5, 2023 Posted May 5, 2023 Hi, I have been watching a video (solar processing using Autostakkert and imppg, by Highpoint Scientific) in it there is the creation of a calibration flat, which is basically an out of focus shot of the Sun surface, the chap uses a software named SER Player and Photoshop. The chap creates a master calibration in SER then imports them into Photoshop, he then flattens that file. It’s difficult to explain but there is no where I can find to explain or show how to open those files in AP and then how to flatten them. I understand this post seems a bit gibberish but it may be best if the Highpoint video is watched then maybe someone can come back with advice. Thanks. Quote
Staff Callum Posted May 5, 2023 Staff Posted May 5, 2023 Hi Dinagirl, I can't seem to find the video you are referring to by searching for solar processing using Autostakkert and imppg on HighPoint specifics Youtube Channel please could you provide a link to it? It may also be handy if you could provide one of the files you can't open in AP. Thanks C Quote Please tag me using @ in your reply so I can be sure to respond ASAP.
Dinagirl Posted May 5, 2023 Author Posted May 5, 2023 Hi Callum it’s not Highpoint specifics it’s Highpoint Scientific. I said the wrong organisation it’s Woodland Hills. Sorry, no wonder you couldn’t find it. If you manage to find the video it’s about 24 minutes along. Quote
