Affinity-Inspiration Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 I’m running an M2 Mac mini. Should I be running Rosetta on Photov first? Quote iPad Mini 6. 256GB. My GoTo design platform. v_kyr Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Why, universal apps usually don't need Rosetta 2? - If the universal binary APh app would need Rosetta 2, then your MacOS should have already determined and indicated that. - In such a case it would have already asked you to install Rosetta 2 if it wasn't already installed on the system. - See also related ... If you need to install Rosetta on your Mac - Apple Support Quote ☛ Affinity Designer 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Photo 1.10.8 ◆ Affinity Publisher 1.10.8 ◆ OSX El Capitan ☛ Affinity V2.3 apps ◆ MacOS Sonoma 14.2 ◆ iPad OS 17.2

So I guess not. thanks Quote iPad Mini 6. 256GB. My GoTo design platform. M2 Mac Mini. 24GB. LG 4K Monitor. + Samsung Monitor 2. Windows 10 Toshiba. Windows 11 Parallels on Mac. Publisher. Designer. Dehancer? - Do you mean something from here https://www.dehancer.com/ ? - If yes and it's a third party plugin, then that message can depend on that Dehancer Plugin itself, aka if is build up (compiled) itself not in an universal binary manner and so just for MacOS Intel based hardware. Meaning here, if that is an add-on plugin which is itself only compiled and installed as an MacOS Intel binary, then that plugin would probably need Rosetta2 in order to be run as a plugin part inside of/for APh.
