Export to PSD renames bottom layer to "Background"

Is there a way to stop the PSD export from renaming the layer to Background? I have projects where the bottom most layer is filler to the vendor that needs to say White [DO NOT PRINT] or other similar notes. Thank you!

There is no way to prevent this as far as I'm aware.
