Full Screen Lock Drawing

Hello. I’m just trying to get the most natural drawing experience I can out of affinity photo on the iPad. I’d like to be able to rest my hand on the screen which I think I’ve resolved but when I set it to full screen the menus constantly keep reappearing with the slightest touch. Is there a way of locking the full screen mode?

Unfortunately there's no 'lock' option directly for the menus currently, however there are 2 different behaviours to be aware of.

If you tap/hold the canvas near a visible menu, this should automatically hide said menu, then this will reappear once you have stopped tapping/holding the screen.

If you manually hide the menus using the option in the top right of the UI, these menus should remain hidden unless you;
a) Press the hide/show menu icon in the top right again
b) Tap/touch the bottom right corner of the UI

As can be seen in the following recording - 

 

It's possible that your hand/palm is currently triggering the second action, so I would advise to be careful of your hand placement when in this mode as it is triggered in the very bottom right corner of the app.
