Are the Affinity license servers down this week? My Windows 11 machine suffered a failed SSD so I had to install a fresh NVMe drive and reinstall Windows 11 22H2v1 and the three Affinity applications. Unfortunately, I don't seem to be able to get the license verified within the apps. I am seeing an error of the form...

"Unfortunately, we still cannot verify your license at the moment. We'll try again the next time you launch the app."

My reading of this error message is that it reflects the upstream license server being down rather than the license key itself being considered invalid. Has anyone else run into this issue? I am assuming that there isn't any particular reason that a clean install of Windows 11 would be blocking the license verification process.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @Jack Howarth.

Please check that your computer date, time, and timezone are correct.

You can also check your connection to the server, in either of two ways:

  1. From the Account dialog in the application, click on the 3-bar icon in the upper right, and choose Check Connection (or something like that). Save the resulting file, and browse it with a text editor, or upload it here for us to interpret.
  2. Within the Activation dialog, right-click. You should find the Check Connection option there, too.
