Cannot communicate with other Affinity apps (split)

Experiencing a similar issue, in addition, I am outside my local network so I am getting that message plus I get an error message outside of affinity "There was a problem connecting to the server my server's name". I get this prompt each time I try to open affinity along with cannot communicate. I have restarted and nothing happens.

I can confirm that I believe this issue has been resolved in our beta version, which you can sign up to below - 

If you don't wish to use the beta version, we're working to release this update ASAP. Our apologies once again for any inconveniences caused in the meantime.
