inkstained Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Hello! I have tried searching for an answer to this for a while now in these forums. All the suggested fixes don't seem to be working for me. I am trying to copy and paste text from an html source. Whenever I do so, it removes all italics and bold formatting from the original source. I have tried copying from word and a pdf as well, and all 3 options will not keep italics. I am changing the rest of the formatting (font, size, indentations, paragraph and line spacing, etc.) and that's easy enough to change using paragraph styles. I don't know how else to keep those italics without manually going in and changing them (tedious). I do have Master Pages set up... not sure if that is the issue? Thanks in advance for any advice! David in Яuislip Posted April 1, 2023 Posted April 1, 2023 Paste Special/Rich Text Format is your friend, if that's not available then the formatting is lost Pasting from the browser is dreadful, try the attached htm file, copy and paste from the browser into Word then copy and paste into Publisher My old Word 2010 cannot read the CSS underline, new versions may be ok but the Explorer preview doesn't work so it's all over the place RichText.htm Quote Microsoft Windows 11 Home, Intel i7-1360P 2.20 GHz, 32 GB RAM, 1TB SSD, Intel Iris Xe Affinity Photo - 24/05/20, Affinity Publisher - 06/12/20, KTM Superduke - 27/09/10
