Can't edit text effects in Photo V1

I found this site https://www.freepik.com/psd/text-effect it has A TON of really cool text effects and other resources. Problem for mw is I'm using AP v.1 and when I open the PSD file I cant edit the text. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Welcome to the Affinity Forums

When importing PSD files into Affinity, text will automatically be rasterised in order to preserve as much accuracy as possible compared to the file in Photoshop.

If you wish to change this setting such that text can be edited, please open the Affinity app and navigate to Edit > Preferences > General - here you should see the option 'Import PSD text as text rather than bitmap', alongside 'import PSD smart objects where possible'.

I'd recommend enabling both of these options and then try opening the downloaded .PSD file once again.
