Using 2.0.4 Publisher in the US (and so measurement units are in inches.)  I'd like to transform a rectangle (or any other object) to a width of exactly 9.66 inches.  However, the transform pop out keeps rounding typed values to 9.7 inches.  For those in metric lands, that's a difference of over 1mm.

Steps:  Create a document.  Create a rectangle.  Select the rectangle and click the "transform" tool.  See the values under "dimensions."

Is there a way to get Affinity Publisher (iPad) to respect more than one decimal place of precision in measurements?

Thank you

Hi @GaryD9 welcome to the forums,

If you set the object Length/Width to a value with two decimal places it will honour this measurement on your object, however within the transform panel it will only visually show the rounded value to 1 decimal place. Currently there isn't a way to change the decimal places for units on iPad, this is a desktop only feature. I have linked the feature request thread below if you wish to voice your support.

Thank you. I've added my voice to the feature request thread, though when working with US paper sizes (measured in inches), the lack of precision could almost be described as a UI bug, not just a request for a feature.

The limitation is seemingly ONLY a user interface issue, as converting the document to use millimeters doesn't appear to result in a forced 1mm loss of precision.  (This leads to a work-around, as long as a person is willing to convert to millimeters.)
