Document layout

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm hoping someone might be able to help. I have created a 4-page A4 pamphlet on Affinity Publisher:

I would like it to be laid out as follows:

Page 1 is the front cover page,

Page 2 on the inside of the front cover

Page 3 on the inside of the back cover

Page 4 is the back cover page.

I've used the facing pages setting.

Everything looks fine until I export the document to pdf.  The front and back cover pages of the Affinity pdf are fine – they both show as single pages, as I would have expected, but pages 2 & 3 are showing as one, single pdf page (so I have 3 pdf pages in total, rather than the 4 I usually get). The print company won't accept this, so I need to find out what I'm doing wrong.

Thanks :-)

Export the PDF as Pages, not Spreads in the Area section of the Export Dialog.

Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
