Drag and Drop from Bridge or Finder

Hi,

Does anyone know how you can drag and drop an image from the Finder or Adobe Bridge straight into Publisher?

When I try do this, the image appears to get opened in a type of editor within Publisher.

If you drag the image over the UI it will open it directly for editing. However if you click drag it on to the document it will be inserted so you can select and resize/position as needed.

Is that a modifier key for the click drag?

Drag onto document = place image

Drag onto grey artboard area = open in editor

I got confused with "click dragging".
