In Affinity Photo 2, I have a document with linked documents which themselves have linked documents. Aka deep linking.

Changing a linked document updates the root/parent document. Changing a child of a child or linked inside linked document doesn't update the root document. I have to have the first child document open and save it to update the root document.

"Automatically update linked resources..." is on.

I would expect the root document to update whenever I change a linked document and deep linked document. Makes sense no?

By the way, just got myself APhoto2 a month ago and I'm loving it! Runs Flies effortlessly on my M1 Macbook Air.

Resource 1 needs to be opened and saved for the change to appear in Root.

Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
