Mr Sinister Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 MacBook Pro 2021, Monterey version 12.6.3, 16GB RAM. Hi. I’m very new to Affinity software, so please bear with me. Have been using Designer 2, and I’ve encountered something that may be an issue, it may be as intended. If I select a colour in the colour wheel (the triangle in the rainbow circle) in Designer Persona, I can click on the rainbow circle, the triangle changes colour to reflect the colour I have selected, and I can then click or drag in the triangle to fine tune my selection. if I try to do the same in the Pixel Persona things behave differently: I click on the circle, the triangle moves for a split second, changes to the selected colour, but then reverts back to the default (the triangle is red, and selected colour is black (#000000)). The slider below (Noise / Opacity) does show the selected colour, but trying to change those settings results in the bar reverting to default (Black). I select Designer Persona again, and everything works as I think it should, even remembering my colour selection before I switched to Pixel Persona. 🤷🏻♂️ Quote
walt.farrell Posted February 6, 2023 Posted February 6, 2023 I do not see this on Windows 10. The triangle (or square) operates exactly as I expect in the Color panel in both the Designer and Pixel Personas. Mr Sinister Posted February 6, 2023 Author Posted February 6, 2023 I’ve just had another look, and it seems to be working OK. However, I tried without having a document open, and without my Intuos graphic tablet attached to my MacBook. I’ll keep an eye on the problem reoccurring … Thanks M. Quote

Mr Sinister Posted February 6, 2023 Author Posted February 6, 2023 Previously, I did have an image open, and I had the afore mentioned problem. This time trying, I didn’t. And it worked fine. Quote
