I apologise in advance if somebody has already asked this - I had a look in FAQs and couldn’t find an answer.

Essentially I’m trying to create and print some images, circles, as a very specific size. They’re for a project and have to be 1 inch exactly. I’ve used the method in the screenshot below (sorry for not knowing the terminology for tools used) to size it as an inch, however if I print straight from Affinity iPad (see 2nd screenshot), the images are printing significantly smaller.

I’m sure this is user error, but what am I doing wrong?

More likely it’s iOS printer interface. My Epson printer works fine printing as you are above. The printer interface for my printer has a scale setting.

What printer do you have and does it offer any setting options?
