I drag a layer from File A onto File B, the little green plus sign lights up, I let go, the layer snaps back into File A without transferring. This happens both when I try and drag a layer out of the palette, and when grabbing the selected image layer. I ended up selecting the layer in File A, copying it and pasting it into File B, very inelegant. Am I missing something here? Being able to drag a layer from one document's layer palette into another document should be pretty straightforward, but here it's kind of a... a drag. Oh, jeez, that's ridiculous; that's pretty much basic functionality. That, on top of their ill-advised UI design decisions re: the toolbar you can't detach, stuck to a window you can't bring to the front... they're really wrecking it in this version.
