Atomic1975 Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 Hi everyone, I'm a newbie so please bear with me. I uploaded a PNG file and using the Pixel Persona, I started filling color in using the Flood Fill Tool. However, I'm getting these grey spots around the black pixel lines. The image is 300 DPI. Also, I've played with the tolerance slider but can't get it to be perfect. Please see attached image. Any advice to achieve a proper color fill would be greatly appreciated. Thank you as always. Atomic1975 Posted January 21, 2023 Author Posted January 21, 2023 I think I just found the answer: enable antialias and select Layers Beneath. Create a new pixel layer and place it about the line art. Much better! Quote
loukash Posted January 21, 2023 Posted January 21, 2023 You may want to use a completely different workflow. If your PNG is just black/grayscale anyway: create a red Fill layer put it behind your PNG layer as background set the PNG blend mode to Multiply laurent32 1 Quote MacBookAir 15": MacOS Ventura > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // MacBookPro 15" mid-2012: MacOS El Capitan > Affinity v1 / MacOS Catalina > Affinity v1, v2, v2 beta // iPad 8th: iPadOS 16 > Affinity v2
Atomic1975 Posted January 21, 2023 Author Posted January 21, 2023 Thanks Loukash, that is interesting. I'll give it a go. Quote
