iPad Designer 2 Crashes when I load a File from OneDrive

I fist time poster - have just recently purchased the PC version of Affinity 2 and use it to send files for printing to my RICOH Sublimination printer. I saved the files to my OneDrive account. Along comes my iPDA, which looks like it will allow me to load the files however, when I attempt to load the files the app instantly crashes on my iPad.

Is this an incompatibility with sharing files between my devices and is there a known bug and or fix for this?

I am using the most recent downloads therefore whichever version is current for both laptop 2.0.3 and iPad 2.0.3 (Trial).

Have you tried downloading the file from OneDrive to your iPad storage and then opening in our app?
