lforbes
I do a lot of 3D building and I build my 2D vectors previously in Inkscape and want to now move to Affinity Designer V2. Inkscape had the ability to export vector as DXF which is the primary 2D file type used by 3D software. For example Shapr3D can import DXF but does not support SVG. mrbbp.the.one
DXF is usefull too for laser cutting. have to use pdf export and inkspace to export in dxf to my fablab laserworks... (DXF was the only bascule point for the new version) really desappointed by this import ONLY (what marketting's killing joke!) Don't care about JPG XL which is a borndead format (avif should be a better idea)
