gromit219 Posted January 14, 2023 Posted January 14, 2023 If I open a sample document (say Spark Drink) which is in the sRGB colour space and convert it to a LARGER space (say Adobe RGB 1998) some of the colours change, specifically the reds in this image. Far more than is to be expected from any rounding. Same results with Hardware Acceleration turned on/off. Same with 16bit conversion selected at same time. The problem is most noticeable in converting the sample image Rain in the Tropics to say LAB/16. I have a Mac Studio running macOS 12.6.2. Quote
gromit219 Posted January 14, 2023 Author Posted January 14, 2023 My mistake. If I flatten the layers the conversion works as expected, namely with no discernible colour change. Photoshop gives a warning in such cases. Please ignore! Dan C 1 Quote
