farazijaz
I've previously downloaded Affinity and have had no issues with update and so forth. Now I had to change my MacBook battery and reset SMC but apparently it required a MacBook reset in order for the MacBook to recognise the new battery. I have never downloaded Affinity from Appstore before (only through your website) and decided to download from Appstore, but now my license code is not working. What do I need to do in order for it to work? Thank you.
walt.farrell
Your reference to a license code suggests that you were previously using a version 1 Affinity application, purchased directly from Serif via the Affinity Store. If that's true, then since you made that purchase Serif has released version 2, which is a paid upgrade from version 1 (not free), and has removed version 1 from the Mac App Store. Therefore, what you downloaded from the App Store is a version 2 app, and your version 1 license code is not applicable to it. If you want to keep using version 1 of your application you can do that, but you will need to download it from Serif as you did previously. You can find downloads for your version 1 applications in your account at https://affinity.store/account/downloads There is an alternative download location, but we would need to know which of the three Affinity applications you own. So it may be easiest to just go to the link I provided and search through the list there.
