Lugaroz
Hi everyone! I was wondering which Raw Core is better for use in order to get the best processing on my Raw files, is it the Apple Core engine or the Seriff Labs core engine? I’m a user of an IPad 8 with Canon M50Mii (CR3) Raw files I been using the Apple Core since the beginning of my editing and I have no major problems but as a beginner, no only in editing but also on the use of Affinity Photo for IPad service I wonder the difference so I come to your knowledge, everyone. thanks in advance for your answer, take care @Lugaroz
NotMyFault
All have specific advantages Apple Core supports new camera / lenses earlier than Serif RAW, typically 6-15 month issues can be reported to Apple. You have zero influence. If millions user report same bug it might get solved. Serif RAW Allows to use new RAW target choices embedded / linked Same results on all platforms Windows / Apple Issues can be reported to Serif. Serif might solve them - after very long time Benefits from LibRAW improvements about 1 year later You can manually add /missing) lens profiles created for LibRAW -or create them yourself, or provide test images to the community to get those profiles.
