MikeTO
Hi. Preferences is. not under Edit on macOS, you were looking at a Windows instruction. You'll find Preferences under Affinity Photo - it's always under the app name in every Mac app. I think we'll need to see the original file that you opened and then saved as an afphoto file. This file doesn't have any data in the lower half of the picture. I know that's the problem you're sharing but the file doesn't have any picture data there as far as I can tell. I'd rather see the original file that you imported to see if I get the same issue as you. Also, this file opens instantly on an M1. Is the 20-30 seconds you're experiencing when you open this afphoto file or the original Nikon file? WpF
Sorry to waste your time. I opened the file in Fast Raw Viewer and found the bottom half corrupted. The fingernail view was not easily viewed. It looks as if Affinity ignored the bottom half and displayed the top. Again, did not mean to waste time as you are busy trying to help us with the new V2.
