Bruce Lingenfelter Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 My church has asked me to be on their photo team. They shoot RAW, and have created a plug-in with Lightroom. It is a .XMP file. I haven't been able to find a way that I can make use of this file to edit my RAW images with Affinity Photo 2. Any ideas? Thank you. Quote
walt.farrell Posted January 13, 2023 Posted January 13, 2023 Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums. Photo and Photo 2 do not have that capability. They can read metadata (tags, keywords, etc.) from XMP files, but not information about the edits that were made to a RAW file. Edit: You could export a TIFF from Lightroom, and send that to Photo or Photo 2. But that's the only way I know of to get the edited version from LR to Photo. Budd Posted February 3, 2023 Posted February 3, 2023 Well that answers the question I was going to ask about XMP files. As someone who doesn't want to lose the DAM features of Lightroom, it is disappointing that Affinity does not interact well with XMPs. Quote
