My church has asked me to be on their photo team.  They shoot RAW, and have created a plug-in with Lightroom.  It is a .XMP file.  I haven't been able to find a way that I can make use of this file to edit my RAW images with Affinity Photo 2.  Any ideas?  Thank you.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.

Photo and Photo 2 do not have that capability. They can read metadata (tags, keywords, etc.) from XMP files, but not information about the edits that were made to a RAW file.

Edit: You could export a TIFF from Lightroom, and send that to Photo or Photo 2. But that's the only way I know of to get the edited version from LR to Photo.

Well that answers the question I was going to ask about XMP files. As someone who doesn't want to lose the DAM features of Lightroom, it is disappointing that Affinity does not interact well with XMPs.
